Cultivation

Year-round corn production under excellent conditions. That?s our mission and our art. In practice, this means we grow corn in the Netherlands, Spain and the USA.

In the Netherlands, corn is mainly grown in the Central-Limburg region. At the end of April we start sewing. A specially adapted seed drill accurately places the seeds at the right distance in the row.
 

 
 

After the corn has emerged, the rows are weeded mechanically to remove weeds and to loosen the soil.

We keep a close eye on the corn during its further development to ensure growth proceeds optimally. This ultimately means we offer you the best and most delicious corn there is.
 
 
 

After ploughing, the soil is loosened using a cultivator. The soil is then compressed with a roller creating a flat seed bed to give the corn the best start in life

At the end of July the first sweet corn ripens and is mechanically harvested using a clamping belt harvester, to prevent damage to the cobs. 
The corn is unloaded from the harvester into a tipper.
